Out with the old and in with the new.One of the first things that Amy and her husband Tony did was remove  and replace the white picket fence that surrounds thier lovely 2 story home on treed corner lot. They have been renovating thier home for the past couple of years and have updated many aspects of it's rooms. It's a real treat to go inside.

Step inside where you get a wonderful view of the simple but detailed staircase a feature they both love with chandelier overhead.

You are going to love thier newly renovated country kitchen with beaded board cabinets and black appliances. They also replaced the wood floors which had been neglected by previous owners.

Don't ya think the red check curtains really give this kitchen a punch of color along with red brick walls? They maintained the integrity of the home but updated it for thier busy family.

The kitchen really is the heart of the home for this family and it shows!

Double windows really open up this breakfast room keeping it light and airy.

On the other side of the kitchen a door leads to a beautiful formal dining with dining table that can easily seat 8-12 guest adorned with crystal chandelier overhead. Beautiful original french doors direct you into the family living area with solid wood  fireplace that flanks almost an entire wall.

The upstairs foyer has a wonderful window seat with built in bookcases on each side.

Beautiful damask cover fit for a Queen and her King. Notice the great lighting and beautiful restored solid wood floors.

Amy made good use of some space next to the circle drive by adding her own vegtable garden (that was smart.)

I would like to thank Amy and Tony for allowing us to enter into thier beautiful vintage home. It is very warm and inviting and really makes you see that "There's No Place Like Home."  Thank you again you've really put your heart into it.
