Today is a truly an enchanting visit into the beautiful historical home of Mark and Jo-Anne Coletti. They have lovingly restored thier 1820's Federal style home inside and out and thier appreciation of their home shows. The couple has graciously opened thier doors to us and invited us in. We start off at the curb where we are immediately greeted by beautiful purple Clematis.

Pull up to the house and you will find a stately 2 story exterior and be pulled in by it's picket fence, shuttered windows, maintained grounds and treed exterior. The red door is a welcome sight indeed!

Are you feeling it yet?...Feel yourself being pulled in... I do.
If the front yard doesn't take your breath away the back yard surely will.

Jo-anne says this area here brings her much peace she loves to sit and enjoy the beauty of nature, its overflowing blossoms and it's ever present fragrances.

This is fabulous! Don't you agree? If you don't have a garden like this one, isn't it nice to visit someone else's...

Aren't the colors magnificient? A fabulous array of God's beauty here in all shapes and sizes. Truly a cottage garden. It's a family affair for the Coletti's each one having a part in it's beauty.

With so many flowers in this garden you ( have to)... have a place for birds to come and serinade you. I love to hear the sound of birds and of water don't you?

Now step inside where you will enjoy soft colors of pinks and whites that make you immediately feel nostalgic. Totally inviting. Feast your eyes on all these beloved treasures.

Notice the warm colored wood floors of various sizes. Take note of the timeless soft hand hooked rug. The glass handles on the cabinetry. The overhead chandelier and of course the ROSES.

Jo-Anne enjoys creating vignettes that draw your eyes around the room she says the secret is... to buy... what you love. Jo-Anne collects what she loves which has created a comfortable but romantic style home. Feeling inspired??

Jo-Anne has lots of sparkle and shine as chandeliers are adorned not only for their funcion but for their beauty. And they are indeed beautiful. Bountiful bouquets can be seen through out their home.

What a wonderfully shabby chic room... there are slipcovers, cherubs (angels) marble lamps adorned with custom shades, overhead chandelier, wrought iron, wicker, painted wood and ironstone pots. Eye candy is what this is...
The next two pictures are of Jo-Anne's home office.

Notice how the computer can easily be closed up and hidden away in a painted cupboard.

What a fantastic bedroom: lace, stain glass, chandelier, antique dresser, fireplace, lots of vintage architectural charm. Yet always comfortable and inviting. Jo-Anne has a website which offers unique treasures, lasting gifts and something for everyone.
