Picked up this stain glass window for $40 on a trip to Arkansas.
Got this great old rug on ebay it came with a wool cloth underneath making it very soft.
Both furniture pieces i painted and distressed them and aged thier appearance. They really came out great! An antique tray holds all my vintage candle sticks.
The chandelier was at a garage sale it was bright brass and looked very Colonial. I added 60 prismas and a very lonnnnng strand of crystals and it's a show piece. Who would have thunk it???
I made the floral curtains my ceilings are 10 ft tall so the curtains are over 9 ft long. I placed them on rings that open and close with one hand.Very romantic.
I am still looking to get some risers for the bed. I made this coverlet out of muslin ((along with pillow shams,neck rolls and cafe curtains..I have a thing for feather pillows and my home has them everywhere.
This arrangement cost me about $12 i found the concrete planter at a on the side of the road in someone's trash. The dried flowers came from a thrift store.
My moma came over and arranged the dried flowers and this is much prettier in person it looks as though it should be out in a field somewhere. The tallest sticks are probably close to 3 feet.
